Queensland's best new public access golf course, Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club, offers golfers a five-star experience from the first hole to the Clubhouse and beyond.

 

Located less than one hour from the Brisbane CBD on Bribie Island, the course is set against the backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains, National Park and untouched State Forest to provide a visually stunning setting.

 

Designed by Ross Watson, one of the Asia-Pacific's most well-known and highly respected golf-course architects, the course is the centerpiece of the $1.8 billion Pacific Harbour residential development.

 

Based on traditional Scottish links courses, Pacific Harbour uses a diversity of hazards, the contouring of greens and the layout of bunkers to make each hole visually distinctive, while creating a course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.

 

Since opening in 2006, Pacific Harbour has been regularly ranked among Australia's best public access layouts, picking up its first accolade within a year of opening.

Pacific Harbour has defied the current national trend of declining memberships, proving itself to be one of South East Queensland's best performing golf clubs.

 

In 2008 the Club was recognised for its outstanding membership sales as the team sold the highest number of memberships in 2007 across the 200 courses which make up the Troon Golf international portfolio.

 

The $11 million Clubhouse, which was officially opened in November 2006, is home to "The Deck Bar & Restaurant", and other five-star facilities including a wine cellar, fully equipped golf shop, change rooms, conference and function facilities.
